Taking up this mission on the auspicious occasion of Pathamudayam, with the hope to exalt Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple as A global pilgrimage centre. Pathamudayam is an annual date that occurs on the 10th day of the Malayalam month of Medam. Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple still reflects the splendour of the past and showcases the priceless heritage of Sanatana Dharma for the world.
A two-day workshop was held by GCF along with the members of the Royal family of Travancore on April 21 and 22. The royal family is the official patron of the Padmanabha Swamy temple and Princess Gouri Lakshmi Bayi unravelled the history and mystery of temple for an enthralled audience. She eulogised the temple as a marvel that holds centuries of ritualistic, cultural and religious significance. The temple stands as a silent and watchful guardian over the region and the people and continues to be one of the very few Indian temples that have not been plundered by invaders. The Advaita philosophy as interpreted by Aadi Sankaracharya is key to uniting the world above differences of religion, nationality and gender. Advaita and Yoga have the power to create a new world order which will be non-violent, happy and prosperous.
